Hey, have you heard there's a new Beyoncé tour? It's pretty low-key, so I get it if this is the first you're hearing about it. Just kidding! The Cowboy Carter tour is like an omnipresent, coast-to-coast, sequinned blanket of good vibes that's gonna nurturingly envelop you with glamorous, defiant joy whether you've got tickets or not. (It's literally the only thing my niece, Elyssa, has been talking about for months. Months!) And while most fans are excited about the music, the outfits, and the overall experience, you also have to admit that all eyes will adoringly be on Beyoncé's unbelievable and seemingly infallible hair.

So, how does she do it? Well, first of all, she doesn't do it herself. She's got hairstylist Neal Farinah for that, and it's a job he understandably takes very seriously, so lots of thought went into how the superstar's hair would look.

“Inspiration comes from so many places, but ultimately, I’m always inspired by big, Texas hair," Farinah says. "We wanted to call back to the iconic honey blonde and big body blowout Beyoncé is known for, but still nod to the Cowboy Carter blonde we’ve played with all year. It’s so important that the hair has body but also movement. No time for stiff bouffants here!”

Probably needless to say, Beyoncé's own haircare line, Cécred, is the tour's official beauty brand, so Farinah incorporated several of the line's products into creating her look. To ensure frizz-free nights and locked-in smoothness, Farinah uses Moisture Sealing Lotion, which helps curls look more defined.

“For a finishing touch of shine,” he uses Nourishing Hair Oil to reinforce the hair's lipid barrier and really ensure that her hair stays moisturized. And for both blowouts and “easy touchups during quick changes,” Farinah relies on the widely spaced Vented Paddle Brush. (If you prefer something that isn't vented, we happen to also love the Best of Beauty Award-winning GHD Paddle Brush.)

We can only imagine how much Cécred product comes along on this tour—perhaps enough to fill its own tour bus? But it's worth it for the flawless Cowboy Carter hair flips.
